Welcome to Mahon Services ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website (www.mahonservices.com), our inspection services, and any related communications, including SMS messaging. By accessing our website, scheduling an inspection, or engaging with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.


1. Services

Mahon Services provides property inspection services, including but not limited to residential, commercial, and environmental inspections. We aim to deliver accurate and timely reports based on the scope agreed upon at booking. Service availability, pricing, and scheduling are subject to change at our discretion.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use our services. By using our services, you represent that you meet these requirements.


3. Account Registration

To book services or receive updates, you may need to provide contact information (e.g., name, email, phone number). You are responsible for keeping your information accurate and up-to-date. We handle your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy (#).


4. Payment Terms

  • Pricing: Fees are provided at the time of booking and may vary based on service type, location, or complexity. All prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Payment: Full payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed. We accept credit cards and other methods via secure third-party processors.
  • Refunds: A full refund will be issued for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled inspection. No refunds are provided for completed services or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, unless at our discretion.


5. SMS Messaging Program

We offer an SMS messaging program for appointment reminders, service updates, and promotional offers (where consented). By participating, you agree to the following terms:


5.1 Opt-In

  • You may opt in to receive SMS messages by providing your mobile number and agreeing to these Terms, typically via a website form, verbal consent, or texting a keyword (e.g., “JOIN” to 555-123-4567).
  • Message content may include: “Welcome to Mahon Services! You’ll receive inspection updates & offers. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for info.”

5.2 Opt-Out

  • To stop receiving SMS messages, reply “STOP” to any message or contact us at (888) 555-1234 or support@mahonservices.com.
  • After opting out, you’ll receive one final message confirming your removal: “You’ve been unsubscribed from Mahon Services SMS. No further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.”

5.3 Message Frequency

  • Message frequency varies based on your service needs (e.g., appointment reminders) or promotional campaigns. Expect 2-5 messages per month unless otherwise specified.

5.4 Costs

  • Message and data rates may apply as per your mobile carrier’s plan. We are not responsible for these charges.

5.5 Help

5.6 Compliance

  • Our SMS program complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA guidelines, and A2P 10DLC standards. We do not share your mobile number or opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes (see our Privacy Policy (#)).
  • You represent that the mobile number you provide is yours or that you have permission to use it.


6. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information when booking or communicating with us.
  • Ensure safe access to properties for inspections (e.g., clear hazards, secure pets).
  • Use our website and services only for lawful purposes.


7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (e.g., text, logos, reports) is owned by Mahon Services or our licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify it without our written consent, except for personal use of inspection reports provided to you.


8. Limitation of Liability

  • Service Limitations: Inspections are visual and based on conditions at the time of service. We are not liable for hidden defects, future issues, or items outside the agreed scope.
  • Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages (e.g., lost profits, property damage).
  • Warranty: Services are provided “as is” without warranties beyond what’s required by law.


9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Mahon Services, its affiliates, and employees harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of our services, or violation of applicable laws.


10. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at our discretion, with or without notice, for reasons including non-payment, violation of these Terms, or suspected fraud.
  • You may cancel services per our refund policy (Section 4).


11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures to perform due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, power outages, or government actions.


12. Governing Law
