Manufactured Home HUD Permanent Foundation Certifications
Mahon Services Residential Inspection LLC offers permanent foundation and additions certifications when required by lenders during home purchases or transfers.
Convert Your Manufactured Home Title to Real Property
These certifications are generally used to convert a manufactured home's title to real property. During this process the field technician verifies the type of foundation the home is installed on, the types of tie-down systems used, and whether any additions or alterations have been made to the home.
This involves taking several photos of the exterior and underside of the home, including entering any crawl spaces or basements. We also attempt to locate the home's data plate inside the home and take detailed photos of any alterations or additions to the home. This information is then sent to the engineer to examine and determine if the foundation certification can be issued.

How We Complete Your Foundation Certification
1. On-Site Evaluation
We verify the foundation type, tie-down anchoring systems, footings, and perimeter enclosure beneath the manufactured home.
2. Photo Documentation
Detailed photos of the exterior, underside, crawl spaces, data plate, and any alterations or additions to the home are captured.
3. Engineer Certification
The collected information is sent to the engineer to examine and determine if the foundation certification can be issued for your lender.
